Kenyan Coffee has Arrived!
Grown by a handful of smallholder farmers on the slopes of Mt. Elgon—an extinct volcano spread across the border of Uganda and Kenya—this coffee boasts cupping flavors of sweet, savory, and citric. Hints of cocoa and grapefruit flavors delight the palate with every sip. This is a medium roast coffee.
Kenyan coffees, for a lot of roasters, are showcase coffees—those that stand out above all others for brash acidity, ripe fruit, and rich sugars. We can all remember that first experience with a Kenyan coffee, and how it floored us with gripping acid.
